What this site is
Educational information and a way to reach Jason York, a licensed independent insurance agent (NPN 17350011) doing business as The Medicare Professor, an Insurance Made Simple company. Nothing here is legal, tax, investment or medical advice, and nothing here creates an agent-client relationship until you and Jason actually speak and agree to work together.
The important insurance disclosures
We are a private agency, not affiliated with or endorsed by the United States government or the federal Medicare program. We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to the plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE (TTY 1-877-486-2048), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to get information on all of your options. Plan availability, benefits and costs vary by carrier, county and plan year. Figures on this site reflect the 2026 plan year unless noted and can change annually. For life and annuity products, guarantees are backed by the financial strength and claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company.
Accuracy, with humility
We work hard to keep every number on this site current and correct, and we cite plan-year figures from official sources. Even so, rules and rates change, typos happen, and your county is its own universe. Verify anything consequential with us directly, with Medicare.gov, or with your state SHIP program before acting on it.
Intellectual property
The content, design and branding of this site belong to Insurance Made Simple and may not be copied or republished commercially without permission. Quote a paragraph with a link and a credit anytime; that is what teaching material is for.
Communications
Submitting a form or booking an appointment authorizes the communications described in our Privacy Policy, including the SMS terms there. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Insurance Made Simple and Jason York are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of this website or reliance on its general educational content. Your enrollment decisions are governed by the official plan documents and carrier contracts, which always control over anything summarized here.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, with venue in Palm Beach County, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above will always tell you when. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
